The USS Enterprise NCC-1701 spacecraft was a Constitution-class cruiser, built at the San Francisco Space Yards and commissioned in the year 2245. The Enterprise was first commanded by Captain Robert April and Christopher Pike, respectively. In 2264, command was assumed by Captain James T. Kirk.
The Enterprise NCC-1701 measured 289 metres in length, 132 metres in breadth and 73 metres in height, had 23 decks and a crew of 430.
