Classic Mini Lime Green
Mini is a small car, produced in its original version as Austin Se7en and Morris Mini Minor between 1959 and 1970. In 1970, the Mini brand was introduced and the two earlier models were referred to only as 'Mini'. Confusingly, from 1962 onwards, both these models were referred to as 'Mini', as with Austin Mini and Morris Mini Minor.
It was a revolutionary and characterful small car designed for the British Motor Corporation (BMC) by Alec Issigonis (1906-1988) and made in Birmingham. This car used new progressive techniques for the time, such as a transverse engine and front-wheel drive, a concept widely used today.
